Nadhim Zahawi opens new £2.25million building at Shipston High School.

On Friday 2nd November, Nadhim joined representatives from Warwickshire County Council, Stratford District Council and Stratford-upon-Avon Sainsbury’s to plant trees on Stratford’s Recreation Ground as part of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, a unique network of forest conservation initiatives involving all 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

Nadhim Zahawi meets Fraser Pithie of the Shakespeare Line Promotion Group to discuss the setting up of the Community Rail Partnership working with local authorities and rail operators and also to discuss the findings of recent Business & User online surveys.

On Friday 7th September, Nadhim had a quarterly catch up discussing local business developments over the summer with Phil Peak (Stratford area Manager) and Craig Humphrey (Managing Director) of the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub.

Nadhim attended a meeting on 20th July with stakeholders to discuss traffic issues facing the residents of Ettington. Nadhim commented: “it was a very constrictive discussion producing a number of initiatives to take forward”.

Nadhim officially opened the Great Alne Park Retirement Village on Friday 20th. Nadhim commented: “I was delighted to have been invited to open the new retirement village.
