Nadhim Zahawi visits Alscot to discuss Bio Diversity Net Gain

Nadhim Zahawi visits the Alscot Estate to discuss the potential of Bio Diversity Net Gain (BNG) and the look at the work of the BNG project at Alscot which is now in its third year.

Biodiversity Net Gain is where conservation work compensates for biodiversity loss. Habitats and species lost to development are compensated with the creation of habitat in another area.

This means economic activity can occur and the environment can continue to flourish.
