Hussain’s Indian Cuisine on Chapel Street in Stratford has been Highly Commended in the prestigious Tiffin Cup, after I nominated them for the annual competition to find the best South Asian restaurant in the UK.
Unfortunately Hussain’s was not selected to represent the region in the Grand Final of the Tiffin Cup 2015, however the restaurant will receive a certificate and an embroidered Tiffin Cup 2015 apron to mark their achievement in this year’s competition.
It is great news that Hussain’s Indian Cuisine has been Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup. Unfortunately they did not manage to reach the Grand Final and the cook-off in the House of Commons, but this is such a prestigious award and to be honoured in this way is a testament to the fantastic efforts of all the staff.
Keith Vaz MP, the co-chair of the Tiffin Cup said:
“We are delighted that Hussain’s Indian Cuisine has been Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup 2015. This is a great tribute not just to the nomination of Nadhim Zahawi MP but also to the constituency of Stratford on Avon as a whole.”
