Stratford Tourism

Nadhim Zahawi met virtually with Tim Cooke, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust CEO to discuss the impact of covid-19 on tourism in the town.

Nadhim said:
“It was good to talk to Tim and hear first-hand the problems facing the Trust. This is undeniably a very difficult time for the whole of Stratford’s tourist economy. I will be relaying their concerns to the Chancellor and Culture Secretary and I join them in hoping for as swift a reopening as possible so that the town can take advantage of the fact that so many people will be looking to stay in the UK this year.”
