Stratford Library visit
On Monday 11th September, Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi visited the refurbished premises of Stratford Library to celebrate the re-opening back in July. The library had temporarily been moved to the Stratford ArtsHouse while the historic buildings on Henley Street were renovated. The newly-opened site now includes the Registration Service and a new ceremony space to be called 'The Henley Room'.
Commenting, Mr Zahawi said:
"I was delighted to visit Stratford Library and its newly-renovated home. It looks fantastic and the building is a fitting host to this much loved public amenity. The new Henley Room was particularly splendid and will with no doubt cement the premises on Henley Street as a popular venue for weddings and other ceremonies".
