We’ll never change Britain back to its best until we get rid of Gordon Brown. We certainly won’t change by fudging what needs to be done. We’ll only change for the better with a government and MP’s committed to the action needed to get our country out of it’s mess and with a clear mandate to deliver. As you Conservative candidate I am committed to: The Economy: Stopping Labour’s waste and borrowing binge, scrapping the ‘tax on jobs’ increase in national Insurance, starting to cut waste now, slashing bureaucracy and red tape and supporting enterprise. Reducing Immigration: Deporting illegal immigrants, imposing a tough points system and capping the numbers coming to those who won’t be a drain on the public purse. Repairing Pensions: Restoring their link with earnings. Taking away the threat of selling your home to pay for care. Taking Back Control from Europe: Keeping the ‘£’ forever, taking back powers from the EU and surrendering no further control of our lives to Brussels. I support Conservative promises to protect the NHS, keep Britain safe from attack, support our schools, defend our grammar schools, restore our rural traditions - and to clean up politics. I am committed to the Stratford constituency - always putting you first and championing your interests, nationally and locally as an independent minded Conservative MP. Stopping overdevelopment, scrapping the Eco-town reviving our rural economy, tackling thuggish behaviour, improving flood defences, saving our fire stations, and backing local businesses.
