The total number of unemployed claimants in the constituency of Stratford on Avon is 171, just 0.4% of the economically active population aged 16-64.

This is the lowest rate of any of the 650 constituencies in the UK.

The total has fallen by 42 since this time last year, and by 69 in the last month. Included in these figures are just 25 claimants aged 18-24 in the constituency, showing that youth unemployment is particularly low.

These a very welcome figures and are a real tribute to the local schools, colleges and businesses, as well as the hard work people are putting in to take opportunities. I hope these achievements continue, and I will carry on doing what I can to help local businesses and local people succeed.
