On Friday 4th July, Stratford on Avon MP, Nadhim Zahawi, will chair a Stratford ‘traffic summit’ bringing together local councils, business representatives and members of the public to explore solutions to the growing congestion issues in the town.
Mr Zahawi has received a growing number of complaints from residents and businesses frustrated with the slow moving traffic, out of sync traffic lights and parking issues they have encountered throughout Stratford. It seems that these are just a snapshot of the community’s concerns.
The summit will be held at the Rosebird Community Centre between 5.30 and 6.30pm on Friday 4th July 2014, and will act a forum for members of the public to raise their concerns, and establish how the community can work together to create sustainable solutions
Mr Zahawi commented:
“Traffic delays and congestion in Stratford have become increasingly problematic, impacting on businesses and residents alike.
While we cannot solve these problems overnight, I want to make sure that we explore every option and that all parties are doing everything in their power to tackle these
