Today I was on the Daily Politics show with Andrew Neil and Jo Coburn. I was speaking against tokenism in politics. I am against all women or all ethnic lists for anything. I explained that Margaret Thatcher did not need positive discrimination to win her seat in Parliament and nor should I or anyone else. I also had the pleasure of being interviewed on World at One on Radio 4 with Martha Kerney. My point was that our message of a clear choice between 5 more years or Gordon Brown or a Conservative Government that will balance the books and create an enterprise economy will win the day.
