3rd Traffic Summit

On the 5th of March I held my third traffic summit. The 3rd summit aimed to show local people the work the council has been carrying out on the priotities identified at the last summit (The Birmingham Road and a relief road/ bypass / third river crossing) and to collect their feedback.

The summit also shared the results of traffic survey data completed on the Birmingham Road. This shows that depending on the time of day 16-23% of traffic is through traffic with more than 50% of traffic accessing side roads and the remaining traffic visiting Tesco or the Maybird shopping centre.

At the summit atendees were also asked to draw their preferred route for a bypass on a map of Stratford.

You can download all the presentation materials and the questions atendees were asked here - 3rd Traffic Summit Presentation and Questions and the feedback form can be downloaded here - Third Traffic Summit Feedback Form.

If you completed the form at the Summit there is no need to complete another copy. If you did not, then you can return it to either constituents@zahawi.com or Nadhim Zahawi, 3 Trinity Street, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 6BL.
